- The Prat – Arthur or as merlin like calling him a prat or a royal pain
- Being a nuisence to Arthur – as much as does his best to hide it there is some liking to this
- Camelot – As the legend says and he is very much loyal to camelot, Arthur and Gaius
- Gwen – A true best friend, well apart from arthur
- Arthur – Sadly yes he is liked even if he has to have something thrown at him

- Arthur – Sometimes, i mean come on who doesn’t have one poit when you feel like kicking him

Merlin is very good natured, speaks his mind in front of Arthur half the time and will help him anyway he can.
The bad side well as Arthur puts it stupid, we all know he is smart he just doesn’t catch on fast enough, argues back specially when Arthur needs it of course.

Personality: Merlin shows exceptional talent and potential in his magical abilities and his keenness to further his education despite the risks carried with using magic. Merlin tends to be outspoken and foolish and sometimes uses his abilities for himself, either to soften the blow or stop it completely. Though he uses his magic for others more often and usually they have consenquences. Merlin used to be naive; he appears unaware that Gwen had romantic feelings for him (or doesn't feel the same way), telling anyone who asks that they are just friends. Merlin is very selfless; always helping others before thinking of hiimself of anything, he has aa habit of seeing good in everyone.

Merlin usually ends up calling Arthur names like ‘Dollop head’ and ‘Clotpoll’, merlin tends o have wisdom on many occasions even if they are brief. Merlin is very observant being able to regconise people and friends including Gwaine even if he was in armour. Nonetheless there is also a darker side to Merlin's personality where he will go to extreme measures to protect those he cares about, even if it means killing enemies. Merlin didn't appear to feel any remorse for killing so many people though Morgana was an exception but this was only because Morgana had once been a friend. However Merlin's brutality was only directed at his enemies and he never harmed anyone who wasn't a threat.

Family: Merlin has many people he calls family it being a bit of a mix, he only has his mother Hunith and he is very attatched to her even to a point of sacrificing himself to save her and let her live. He cares more about her then of himself. He did have a father who he only found out and died the same day his father figured who merlin was and told him that night while realising that after he died that he was the last dragon lord. Even after Balinor died, Merlin heard his voice shortly before he managed to stop Kilgharrah from destroying Camelot.

Gaius is like a father figure to him and being said that he was “more than a father to me”, being sent there by his mother gaius has helped him with his powers. His used to be best friend will who died protecting merlin still managed to stay loyal with his friendship. Of course we can’t forget Arthur and Guinevere who he also considers family as much as Lancelot.

History: Merlin was born in Ealdor a village in Albion countryside, his mother Hunith and father Balinor a dragon lord escaped with the help of Gaius and before he fled they ended up in love with the result of Merlin. Merlin wouldn't see his father until many years later. Merlin was born with a strange power that enables him to slow down the movement of time, both mentally and physically, and move objects to wherever he wishes. According to The Great Dragon, Merlin's birth has been prophesied by many cultures. The Dragon states that it's Merlin's destiny to protect Arthur Pendragon and aid him in uniting the kingdoms of Albion and return magic to the land.

On his way to camelot he found Gaius and pretty much didn’t have to worry about anything until he bumped into Arthur or met him by passing through calling out friend in a sentence which he shouldn’t have done, in the last few years of being Arthur’s servant he has managed to save arthur from being killed poisoned and many other objects of sort and all accounts all he got was Arthur’s response of clean his things most of the time his armour, which comes with the job.

Merlin also saved Gwen from beng permantly headless, Arthur yet again lost count on thse occasions met Lancelot and saved him to being in trouble with gaius and helping him exscape to meeting him again and a person named Gwaine which is to him one hell of an adventure definitly.

Merlin was later reunited with Gwaine who helped him find Arthur who was slowly having his strength drained by Morgana's Eye of the Phoenix. During this foretold quest, which was apparently his, not Arthur's, he was known as "Magic" for obvious reasons, with Gwaine as "Strength" and Arthur as "Courage." Merlin used his Dragonlord ability to save the unconscious Arthur from a pair of Wyvern and later encountered the Fisher King. To something else entirely.

Since Merlin couldn't reveal to Uther that Morgana was using magic he decided to create a sorcerer of his own. In the disguise of an old man, Merlin thwarted Morgana's plan and saved Gwen but was nearly executed himself. He escaped, taking a potion Gaius had prepared, and transformed back into himself before Arthur and his knights could find him.
