Romi wasn’t sure if the noise was goin todie down at all, all morning all he had was the kids giigling and making odd noises which he wasn’t sure why he wasn’t so worried anyway, he was looking for some things his mother asked him to well told him he’d do it and take the kids out. It seemed very nice for him he needed to disappear himself but nevermind the kids were more important they were still growing up, “I will never understand why ma want’s all this” he mumbled at that moment one of the kids turned to look back and at him “Brother can we go play” the youngest of the group asked, he stopped looking at the kid and bending down to his height “Soon Karan, let’s get these yea” Karan nodded and walked side by side Romi he hadn’t seen anybody he knew today and soon enough he got the food orwhatever t was his mother wanted he wasn’t going to ask.

Ah, the marketplace. She loved coming here. Some might find the bustling atmosphere disconcerting, but she reveled in it. Even a simple trip out to buy more yarn and linens could feel like a festival. For the occasion, Sheridan decided to forgo her usual men’s attire, for she usually wore a tunic, pants and boots around the house, for a simple, yet almost elegant corset dress. She worse a long-sleeved white chemise under the top sorest part, which was made of thin, tanned leather, stitched together with yarn and tied in the back by thin, though ropes. It was worn loosely; she wasn’t one to try and make herself unable to breathe. The lower part of the dress was a light green color, and had a split up the side to her knee, letting a section of the chemise be seen. It was embroidered with a rose on the bottom left side. She and her mother worked together to make this piece, so it was classy as well as sentimental. On her feet she wore simple leather shoes, worn soft with age.
Over one shoulder she had what appeared to be a patchy single-handle bag, filled with yarn and folded linens. She’d had a successful day looking for materials for her mother, and was now just wandering around the marketplace, looking at various things for day, and indulging herself in the town’s gossip. As she rounded a corner, she felt something, or someone, run into her, and she glanced down. It appeared to be a young boy, and she had nearly knocked him over. Grabbing his shoulder to steady him, she smiled sheepishly. “Sorry ‘bout that, young sir,” she said, teasingly using the ‘sir’. She’d learned from experience that kids, especially young boys, did not like to be referred to as children. Glancing up, she noticed the boy was walking with a well-off looking young gentleman, nodding her head to him in greeting.

It was getting more on the dreary side for Romi if this day got any more boring it’d be a miracle for him, Karan’s brother who was on the lookout or so he said as he seemed to love trying to be Romi many times. Romi stopped as one of the kids bump into someone and smiled he was happy enough to know these people look out for them well some of them others he knew ignored them and walked by leaving him to care for them and still lookout for the others while he was with someone else. Romi trusted the kids enough to not wander off and stay in a group if they did at least he’d find them hopefully he would, he wished. The little boy smiled cheekily up at the lady who he knocked into as she said sorry he giggled and shook his head as if to say it was his fault for not watching where he was going, smiling non-the-less.
Romi nodded back and walked up to them “See you met Joe, the little watchdog” he said as Joe grinned and “The terror” he replied “oh yes the little terror... eeeee” the pair said at each other in their humorous manor and Romi smiled at the young lady “I’m Romi Ma’m” he said knowing she was a commoner but manners are everything to him anyway his mother would go hours on end at him about it at him he wasn’t letting it happen. “He’s a rascal like the rest of the kids aren’t yah” he tickles him as the rest come up and karan stops behind romi pulling at him “Come on” picking him up “This is Karan the youngest of the group aren’t you” as Romi says it Karan sticks his tongue out getting a finger tapping at him “Excuse his manners he doesn’t use them often” he says grinning again.

Sheridan couldn’t help but chuckle at their antics. They reminded her of her and her brother, when he was smaller, at least. She could see that this gentleman was very close to the youngest child, and to the one that she had bumped into, Joe. “A watchdog? A terror? I see. Thank goodness I mean no harm, I’d me absolutely terrified.” She clutched at her chest in an exaggerated manner, smiling down at the boy. Watching the pair for a moment longer, she waited until she was addressed again by the man. “Romi, is it? It’s nice to meet you, sir. I’m Sheridan.” She smirked inwardly at being called ‘ma’am’. It wasn’t a common occurrence, and it really just sounded silly when directed toward her.
She just now seemed to notice the horde of kids following this young man. “Kid-watching duty, I assume?” He looked back up at him, arching an eyebrow and smiling. “It’s very nice to meet you, Sir Karan,” she said pleasantly, grabbing one of his hands and shaking it. She chuckled at his action, and merely grinned at Romi good-naturedly. “He has better manners than a lot of young gentleman back where I live, including my brother.” She adjusted the bag on her shoulder as she spoke.

Joe giggled again “That’s joe” little Joe replied giving her a cheesy grin seemingly loving every moment of this, Romi smiled about the way she said it to joe and was poked scruffing Karan’s hair as being poked by Karan, “It’s nice to meet you Sheridan” he said back to her and gave her his silly smile he didn’t much go for sir himself “Just Romi is fine” he said as joe pulled at him “what is it?” whispering Romi turned to look up at Sheridan and grinned “Really, we can go chase later and cause mischief together” he laughed as Joe grinned keeping the kids happy was what kept him happy.
“And shopping” he added showing the few bags he had about him, while the kids bustled around all saying hi, Karan in Romi’s arms turned round and as she shook his arm to which he responded with a huge grin just like Romi and “you too” Karan responded in a cheeky manner. Romi smiled “That’s good to hear in my home if we use our manners we get a full day of why we should don’t we” he said to Karan as he nodded as wel as the rest, one little girl replied “Yup and romi get’s told off” she said to Sheridan “I’m Priya” “That’s because you lot plan it eh” he said letting Karan down and having little Raj kiss her.
