The Lady Sasha woke up that morning and instantly prepared to go to King Uther and tell him about the sorcerer Wlliam Fowlent, the one who had cursed her with... what was it? She'd remember soon enough, probably... maybe. Perhaps the sorcerer was so insignificant to her she couldn't even bother to remember what he had said? She never usually looked down on people like that, but William was an exception.
She would avoid telling Uther she had been cursed, though. Even though she wasn't as serious as he was on the topic of sorcery, Sasha was not a fool. She would never tell him she had been cursed.
When she was about to walk out the door and go to the castle, the memory hit her. "A cat and a wolf you can become; the power to shift your shape I have cursed you with." Had been William's few last words to her abut the curse. She stopped instantly and studied the thought with a slight fear and much interest.
Shape-shifting. That seemed like a very interesting curse! It sent fear down her spine, buts he ignored hit. Well... it couldn't hurt to try it before she went to Uther, right? She tried to think of a way to transform, but her mind went completely blank. Sasha also knew William had said something more, but she couldn't remember it.
The only solution she came up with was to concentrate hard enough and think only of wolves. Wolf, wolf, wolf, wolf... she repeated in her head until her mind hurt and made her bare her teeth. Trying to believe that something -- anything -- would happen was hard, but she tried her best.
Suddenly, she felt agony rushing through her just like it had after William had left her in the forest. This time she realized what was happening... her bones were stretching apart! As many thoughts raced through her head and fear made her heart stop, she knew that whatever happened she couldn't undo it for she didn't know the spell. She didn't even know the spell for what she had just done to herself! If it did nothing to her but transform her into a wolf, then how would she change back? She tried to hold back a scream at first, but only a few seconds passed before she let it out at the top of her lungs. She closed her eyes so tightly so even they hurt.
What is going on?! She wondered quickly, her eyes watering from the agony. Help me! Please! She would have blacked out like the first time, but unfortunately she just couldn't. After a few more moments of the pure agony, she heard her screams turn into icy wolf howls!
Everything stopped then...
She lay on her side in front of the door, slightly sore, and where eyes closed. She took in the scents of the air through her nose, and then opened her eyes. Ugh! Everything was blurry, so she had to blink a few times before she could see clearly. What had just happened?
She went to stand up, but then caught a glance at her hands. With horror she saw that they were white furry paws! It had actually worked! That was so strange! She was a white wolf! Now she was scared though...
She licked her glimmering, well-brushed white fur warily with her new wolf tongue to see what would happen. Geez, she thought with the slightest amusement. I never thought after returning to Camelot I'd be stuck licking my fur. Oh well, at least it's not mangy like the rest of the wolves...

Gwen whistled happily to herself as she skipped along the cobbled streets. She was rather happy as she had just ran into Arthur and he always managed to put a smile on her face.
The houses whized past her as her skip turned into a happy run as she raced to Sasha's house. She stopped and saw the beautiful house before her. She skipped up to the steps and knocked on the large door. She expected to be met by Sasha, but she could not hear anything behond the door. She slowly pushed it oopen and peeked in. "Sasha? Are you home?" shouted Gwen. Gwen stepped into the house and looked around. It was dark so she quickly lit a candle but when the room became lit and she could see the room around her, she wished she hadn't. In the room as a large, white wolf! Gwen screamed while jumping onto a table. "What have you done with Sasha?" cried Gwen wildly.

Sasha realized too late that her maid would be coming when Gwen opened the door. Oh no, she thought frantically. She'll be frightened of me.. I have to... hide from view... Before she could find a hiding place Gwen lit a candle, and it's quick light reached her clean white fur.
"What have you done with Sasha?" cried Gwen wildly.
Well, Gwen was her friend! She had to calm her down... if that was even possible being a wolf. "Whoa! Whoa! Calm down, Gwen, it's me. I'm Sasha," she began in a calm voice, yet loud enough to make her voice heard over her maid's. She made no advance toward Gwen, as it may have scared her further. "I never meant to scare you! I'm sorry! I... I won't hurt you, I promise..."
Truly, she really did feel guilty about scaring the life out of her maid. She could only imagine how scared she was to be "ambushed" by a wolf.
She took a step forward, but hopefully it wasn't enough to scare Gwen. "I was just heading out to tell Uther about the sorcerer, but then I remembered the words William spoke to me," she began, trying to sound it in a gentle voice. "I can shape-shift into a wolf and a cat. I just thought I'd see if it worked, and this is what resulted..."

Gwen's mouth turned into an O as she stared wide eyed at the wolf that was talking. "Lady Sasha?" whispered Gwen slowly still standing on the table away from the white wolf. Gwen was confused. Was that really Lady Sasha? Is that what William had cursed her with? It all kind of made sense so Gwen slowly got down from the table, still eying wolf 'Sasha'. "What was I doing when we first met?" asked Gwen. She wanted to make sure it really was Sasha. She was scared that it was just a magical wolf impersonating her mistress, after he had eaten her. Gwen made an impatient gesture with her hand as if to say 'Well, what's the answer?'.

Sasha didn't blame Gwen for not believing her. A talking wolf claiming to be her mistress? Now that she thought about it, Sasha would have been skeptical -- and afraid -- also.
"You were asleep, and then I walked in. I promised not to mention it to anyone, and we made pretty quick friends," she answered her maid, with a detailed reply. That would be all the more convincing. She hoped Gwen would believe her and not... report her to Uther because she was mistaken as an impersonator. "My word is true, Gwen. There's no need to be afraid of me." Though she wasn't aware of it, she wearing a very innocent... wolf... expression on her face. It was subtle though.

Gwen's eyes scruched up as she scutinised the Sasha-wolf. It - she - looked innocent enough. "Well, you can't very well go to Uther like that - can you?" exclaimed Gwen, "Do you think you will be able to change back?" Gwen slowly walked over to the Sasha-wolf, still a tiny bit nervous. She reached out a shaking hand a slowly storked Sasha's fur.

Sasha had thought about it, but when it came to the situation she was totally clueless. "Unfortunately... I don't know exactly how," she answered her maid. "I wish I did, being a wolf is... embarrassing. Why do you think William cursed me with becoming a wolf and cat? I don't see much of a purpose to it." That was true; the Lady Sasha did not remember the rest of what William said. The sorcerer had told her to use her powers to kill King Uther and set Albion free, but she didn't recall that moment.

"Hmm... Well you can never know with magic..." mumbled Guinevere. Gwen looked the wolf-Sasha up and down, wondering what they could possibly do to solve their problem. Gwen remembered what the servants who looked after the royal hounds used to do to. She knew that Sasha was a wolf, not a hound, but it was the best Gwen could do. "Do you need anything? Food? Space to run around?"

"That's the thing..." Sasha growled, but since she was a wolf it literally had a snarling tone behind it. She was surprised by it, and just didn't continue. Growling? She had the organs of a wolf too? Well, then that meant she could do everything a wolf could and more! That was very interesting.
"Now that you mention it, I am hungry," she answered Gwen. "Anything will do. Doesn't have to be special. And about space to run around... I think that might be a good idea. You know, practice for me to get used to using wolf legs." That was a good idea and all, but with every good idea came it's flaws.
"Of course, it would have to be somewhere private where no one will be able to see us," she warned with a slight tone of amusement, but meant it seriously. "I can just imagine their faces, if they saw a wolf. From what I've heard, there are none here in Camelot. Is this correct?"

"Yes, that is correct, well, as far as I know." Gwen replied while walking into Sasha's kitchen. She opened the cupboard doors, trying to see if there was anything she could give to Sasha but nothing seemed adequte for a wolf. She opened the meat cupboard and in she saw a raw steak. She grabbed it, it was a few days old but Gwen hoped it would be OK for Sasha. "Would this be OK?" asked Gwen while holding the piece of meat out to the wolf-Sasha.

Gwen held out a piece of meat out to the Lady Sasha, and she slowly extended her muzzle to sniff at it. She knew very well that her maid was still nervous, so even though Sasha was excited to eat something she went slowly with this. When she opened her mouth and revealed her long and sharp wolf fangs, she hoped Gwen wouldn't be frightened of it. She would never hurt her, even if she looked threatening.
Trying to work out how to chew the piece of meat in a wolf's mouth, she overall enjoyed it. The meat didn't fill her too much, but it was enough to keep her for an hour or two. "That should hold me for a while," she told Gwen, after swallowing. "Umm... thank you."
"So, Gwen, do you have any places that would be safe to run around in mind?" She inquired, trying not to sound rude in any way. In fact, it was in quite a friendly voice.

"Hmm... Well, I can't really think of any places where you could run around without being seen." Gwen lifted her head in thought. It would be hard to find a place that was open and in which Sasha could run around without being seen. An idea suddenly hit Gwen. It was risky, but Gwen thought she may as well make a suggestion. "I suppose... the forest... might be an option." said Gwen cautiously, not sure how Sasha felt about it and if it scared her, or if the memories there would be to much for her. Gwen looked down at Sasha, waiting for a reply.

Sahsa truly didn't want to go back there, but she supposed it would work. Maybe it was abusing her powers, but if anyone that wasn't from the court of Camelot tried to harm them she'd seriously hurt them with her wolfish ways. "I suppose that will do, but just to be safe we should't go too far in," she answered. "Are you comfortable with this? Now that I know how dangerous the woods are, I don't blame you if you don't want to go there."

Gwen fidgeted nervously but then took a deep breath and said with authority "No, I am happy to come, should we leave now?" Gwen pushed a loose bit of hair behind her ear as she waited anxiously for Sashas reply.

Sasha dipped her head curtly, even though she knew it looked strange because she was a wolf. "Now would probably be the best time," she said. "The back door would be best." The wolf started to wag her tail very slowly back and forth, as if she were content.
