Raven walked out of the castle with a list of food to buy but not only that a list of textiles that the ladies and men of the castle wanted for her to make them something. It also didn't hurt the fact that she needed to buy some of her own. This was what she got for telling others she was decent at making clothes and that hers she made herself. A servant was better off having a few tricks up their sleeves to keep even the slightest positions that they made within the ranks of servitude. Raven rather liked working in the castle and it as least gave her brother as slight peace of mind that she would have a roof over her had not that she couldn't help him out. This was just how they saw best to keep themselves safe.
She walked over to her brothers door and walked in. She left a note on a counter where a tea pot was resting. She walked out without another word. He was making things and he'd know she had been there. He took his job with pride. After all he did make most of the swords for the King and his knights. There were others as well but he had a talent to make more things then just weapons. She looked down the market road wondering whether it was a better idea to get the food she needed first or to go to the textile shop. She continued her little walk putting in the order for the food that was needed for the kitchens and replying that she would return to pick up the orders. They all knew her well enough to know that she's be back.
She walked into the textile shop after placing her last order on the list of food that she needed. She looked around still standing by the front door. She looked down at her list of things and back up again. This could take longer then she thought it might. Still it was nice to be out of the castle and allowed to think in ways she could not there. She didn't realize the owner coming up to her as she looked around.
