Likes:
- Merlin, for being there when she needed him and for showing her kindness which she never got from others
- Nature, especially lakes and forests
- Friendship
- Justice and just causes
- Freedom
Dislikes:
- Morgana, because despite sharing common desire to bring magic back, she professed to bring it through inflicting death and pain, something Freya, being current Lady of the Lake, knows well
- Morgause, for very same reasons
- Sidhe Elder, for attempting to assainate Merlin and trying to take over Camelot by forgery
- Halig, for capturing her and bringing her to death
- Evil in general
Good/Bad Habits:
Good: Siding with protagonists, being trustworhy
Bad: Occassional rashness, flaring temper
Personality: Freya loves magic, and won't hesitate to fight for it. She, however, understands the value of patience and will aid Camelot citizens till Arthur claims the throne, upon which she and other magic users will be able to come out of hiding. She looks up to that day, but hesitates to make any wrong moves. Her greatest desire is to be free and to be Merlin's wife someday. She's very shy.
[glow=blue,2,300]***CHARACTER HISTORY***[/glow]
Family: Unknown
History: Freya had been born near the Lake of Avalon and her life had been good. Her village had been a plentiful one and while Freya was an only child, she was happy because she was amongst people that she loved deeply. However, with all good things, it seemed that this life had to end. The village was raided and her parents had been killed along with almost everyone else from her village when she had been about ten years old. While she is not certain, she can only assume that she was the only survivor. She can remember very little of the attack that had taken everything from her but what she could remember was being found by a few druids that chose to take the girl into their fold for they did not turn away those that needed their help. With their guidance, Freya became a skilled druid that took to their teachings and lived with them in peace. She had found home again though her heart still yearned for her village near Avalon.
The years passed and it seemed that more tragedy would befall the tragic young druidess. She had been sixteen at the time when she had been attacked by a sorcerer. Using her magic, she killed her attacker but it was not out of malicious intent but rather self defense that she took the man's life. Of course she still felt awful about taking the life of another but she had had no other choice. Of course his mother would hear none of that, perhaps she did not care that her son had tried to harm Freya or maybe she didn't believe the druidess. But for whatever reason, the sorcerer's mother chose to curse Freya for what she had done. She cursed Freya to become a bastet every night at the stroke of midnight where she would have no control over her actions and she would be forced to kill. It was a horrible curse and nothing that Freya could do would remove it nor could the druids that she called family.
It broke the druids' hearts to send away their Freya but they did so for the safety of their magical community. She could not control it and thus they were all in danger. With that, Freya was alone yet again and now she was a monster at that. She dreaded each night that fell, unknowing of what she did or who she killed, unable to fight it no matter how she tried. With the passing time, she became increasingly withdrawn and only did what she could to survive without letting anyone to get close to her. She couldn't bare to kill someone that she had become friends with, not that she liked killing those she didn't know either. She was a monster on the prowl but she couldn't take her own life. She didn't want to die. She just wanted to be normal.
Trust was something that Freya knew she could afford no one and yet she had chosen to allow someone in a village not too far from Camelot to learn of her plight. He told her that he understood but how could he? Still, she had thought she had found a possible friend but she had been wrong. He had betrayed her to Halig, a bounty hunter that had been after her for some time. Being placed in those shackles, in that terrible cage was one of the worst things that could happen to her and yet... In a way she felt that she deserved it. Deserved it for all the killings that she had done. It mattered not that she hadn't meant to do it, the fact remained that she had. She spent a few days in the cage as she was taken to Camelot, most likely being led off to her death. The cold rain, the heat, none of it could beat the sharp pang of loneliness and anguish she felt as she entered the great city. She was lost and no one would help her.

Freya quite liked her new home. The lake was peaceful and it represented a nice home to her. Inhabitants of Avalon, including the Sidhe, called her Lady of the Lake. Due to death of Sidhe Elder in hands of her only love, the remaining Sidhe looked to her for guidance.
She was often called to solve minor problems and arguments. But Sidhe soon learnt how their Elder died. Freya had to resort to subduing them in order to prevent them from destroying Camelot and everything in it. Including man she loved. She suceeded, but it hadn't been easy.
Freya needed to take a break. So, she decided to see the world she lived in once more. She climbed up and stepped onto the shore, taking a deep breath. Then she looked around and saw that she had a visitor. She sat on the bank next to her.
"I'm glad to have found company. What's your name?" Freya asked curiously. Her companion looked deep in thought, so Freya gazed at the lake. She whirled around. In the distance, there was Camelot. A place where her hopes arose, only to die on very shore she now sat on. It was in Camelot she met only person who understood her, whom she later fell in love with.
All thanks to Hallig. That left a bitter thought. No matter how cruel he was, he was the reason she found her one love. And she repayed him by eating him. She thought she got rid of her past upon her death. Except, she didn't really die. She just became what she truly was: a sorceress of water. Lady of the Lake. Curse died, but it didn't give her hapiness, for she lost a man whom she loved, and who loved her back.
How ironic.
