[glow=blue,2,300]***CHARACTER HISTORY***[/glow]
Family: . Emilys mother, Eleanora , use to work in the castle under King Uther. She had been there since she was 17. She had met Brynn whilst visiting family one day in a neighbouring village. He worked as huntsman and owned his own land and cattle. They fell in love that very day. They spent every moment together they could manage. Unfortunately Eleanora had to keep her secret hidden from Brynn as she knew he wouldn’t approve and would leave her. Her mother, Emily’s grandmother, Ava, practised witchcraft and had passed the gift on to her. She didn’t see it as that though. She thought it was a curse and kept it hidden from everyone, even her own mother. 2 years after meeting Eleanora fell pregnant with their first child, Emily. She took after mother with the same thick dark hair, pale skin and mahogany brown eyes. A year after that they had twins Bethan and Jacob. They took after their father with sandy blonde hair, tanned and green eyed. A couple of years after this however, Emily fell ill. Her life was threatened and her mother saw no other option but to use her magic in order to save her eldest. Brynn was furious and as Eleanora had predicted, he wanted them out of the house that night.
History:
Emily and her siblings grew up on their father’s farm until Emily was nearly 5. After her mother had saved her life and her father had disowned them they moved back to the tiny cottage where her grandmother lived. Within the grand walls of Camelot. They settled in pretty quickly. However, Emily often saw her mother crying and never fully understood why. As she grew she became very close to her grandmother. She taught her the lessons of life as well as how to cook, clean, talk properly and to write. She often helped her grandmother teach Bethan and Jacob too. Her mother went back to working in the castle full time so was rarely home to look after them.
On her 14 birthday Emily had got very upset and angry as her mum couldn’t be there. This was the day she realised she was different. In her angry tantrum she accidently set Ava’s bed on fire. Her grandmother was happy that someone in the family had shared the same gift. Emily explained to her grandmother about how her mother had saved her all those years ago. Needless to say, Ava was very angry and disappointed in her daughter for not confiding in her and refused to speak to her. Emily, also angry at her for not telling and warning her sooner, was never as close to her mother again. Instead, behind closed doors, Ava taught Emily how to use her gift for a better cause and eventually became more of a mother than her own had been. Eleanora left when Emily was 19, unable to live with the things that tore her love away from her and unable to handle the stress anymore.
That year one of Ava’s friends had suggested that Emily should help her on the stall she had in the town centre selling trinkets. Emily gladly took the job and from that day took money home for her family to feed. She also met her first love here and had here first drink in the Tavern. After that night, she was hooked. Angry and bitter at her past she started standing up for what she believed, started to enjoy her life instead of hiding away and started taking more risks. She enjoyed flirting with the people in the village and wasn’t afraid to show her feelings. Unfortunately, she fell for people far too easily and would often get hurt. Still she picked herself up and carried on, getting stronger every time. She made friends and made enemies. She stood up for those close to her and never ran from a fight if it was for the right cause. Over the years her siblings showed no sign of powers so they were reassured in their safety. Jacob moved to a village outside Camelot and married a young girl called Leelya and Bethan got a job helping on the stall with Emily. They had become very close. Bethan looked up to Emily and Emily taught her how she had dealt with the pain life could throw at you. She told her the mistakes she had made so she could avoid them. They stuck by each other and never let each other come to harm. It was the family Emily had wanted.

The temperature had lowered even more in the past few weeks. Emily stood by the dark lake with Liam
Once again she felt him entwine his fingers with hers as they stared out at the cold water. His hands were much larger and she laughed at how his engulfed hers, but she was still nervous. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust him, she simply didn’t trust herself.
Why, would he or anyone else for that matter take an interest in me?
She was an utterly dull and insignificant creature. She wasn’t pretty, smart, nor was she very athletic. In fact, she was a klutz incapable of walking without finding something to trip on.
Was he simply playing around or joking? Making an even bigger fool of me?
That hurt her. Because it would mean she was in love with a jerk. All these thoughts and emotions churned inside her as they continued to walk. But as the silence stretched from peaceful to awkward he finally asked.
“Have you thought about it?” A moment’s pause, “You know, what I asked you before?” She needed no reminder. Ever since that fate-full day she simply hadn’t been able to think straight.
Quickly she recomposed her features and quietly uttered,
“I’m curious, what if I said yes?” but her shaky voice gave her away. She closed my eyes, anticipating his laughter at her incredulous answer but the silence continued. Her voice full of despair seemed to act on its own accord, and she asked,
‘Should I leave?” and attempted to withdraw her hand, but he gently strengthened his grip.
“No, stay with me.”
She quickly stole a glance of his face, a subtle but teasing smile tugging at his lips. Stopping he pulled her other hand towards him, clasping her fingers in a sort of embrace. It was impossible to look away from his eyes; the dark pools that had no end were now warm and inviting.
“You can trust me, you know?” Then he let go of her hands and placed them around her waist, and she draped her hands around his neck, leaning on her toes to rest her head against his chest. She felt sure of herself for the first time in days. She looked back into his eyes,
“I know,” she whispered.
