Group: Sorcerer. She is sort of Royalty from her mother but she is not known for it.

Likes:
Magic - She was entrusted to the Priestess of the Old Religion when she was a child. She has grown up to know magic and use it.
Morgana - She is her half sister and would do anything for her.
Throne of Camelot - She is always talking about it except she is wanting Morgana to take it.
Gorlois - Her stepfather. Her mother was married to him but he died in battle because of Uther.
Old Religion - She was trusted to a Priestess as a child. She grew up to know this future.

Dislikes:
Uther - He killed her stepfather, he may have killed her mother or run away. He has killed those who practice magic throughout 20 years on his fears.
Arthur - This is unclear as to why she doesn't like him, but she talks about killing him for Morgana to have the throne.
Merlin - She doesn't like him for the fact that they found him following her and Morgana once. This means he would have found out most of their plans. He could tell someone but then again, who would believe a servant?
Happiness - She only wants Morgana's happiness.
Knights of Camelot - The won't appeal to Morgana and Morgause.

Good/Bad Habits: She walks around when she is impatient. She fiddles with her fingers when she is talking.

Personality: Morgause was highly intelligent, powerful, arrogant and Machiavellian. An example of her manipulative nature would be her taking advantage of Arthur's interest in his mother to try to turn him against Uther. This almost resulted in Arthur killing his father.

She also used Morgana's hatred of Uther to persuade her to join her. She is consumed with hatred and rage as a result of the persecution of sorcerers by Uther whom she will stop at nothing, except the safety of Morgana, to destroy.

Family: Morgana is her half sister. Gorlois is her stepdad (dead). Vivienne is her mother (dead).

History: Morgause was the half-sister of Lady Morgana Pendragon; it is currently unknown if she had any other siblings apart from Morgana, however this is unlikely. Morgause was born into one of the noble houses of Camelot, the house of Gorlois. Her mother is Vivienne, the wife of Gorlois. It is implied by Morgause in the episode The Sins of the Father that Morgana's mother Vivienne is also Morgause's mother and they both inherited their magical powers from her.

Despite being Gorlois' beloved stepdaughter, daughter of his best friend's wife and his wife's niece, Uther ordered Morgause to be killed with all the other magical children, however he spared her half-sister Morgana, who was only a baby then, because Morgana was his daughter.

For this reason, Gaius was asked to smuggle Morgause (who was merely a child then) out of Camelot and give her to the high priestesses of the Old Religion. Gaius did so, and swore an oath to never reveal his actions to anyone. Uther was led to believe that Morgause had died.

Morgause studied magic for many years, eventually becoming a very powerful sorceress, acting to take her revenge on King Uther Pendragon.

"Whose side are you on, Morgana? Are you with Uther? Or are you with me? Are you prepared to help me bring about his downfall?" I added to her last reply. The coldness whipped my body harshly, creating pain. I began to look at Morgana for answers.
"I am." Morgana answered my question. Her face was like she was so confused. She didn't understand why her sister was asking this. I began to walk towards her and pull her into a tight hug.
"I can't tell me how much it means to hear you say that." I told her. My face lit up. I pulled her into the hug and my eyes flashed a honey brown colour. Morgana passed out in my arms. I placed her down gently to the floor. The cold fog was starting to swish around our figures.The cold air was starting to irritate me. I walked around Morgana, drawing circles with a stick. My eyes glistened with the honey colour again. And again. And again.
"Acene slæp swilce ... Acene slæp swilce ... Acene slæp swilce ..." I was saying. Morgana began to glow up like a firefly. I continued my spell until it was ready to do it's magic.
