He had so much on his shoulders right now. So many things that needed to be seen to, so much work to get the city back in order and the citadel repaired. The fires were out, but the sky still smelled of smoke, and there was still a lot of rubble around. So much had been destroyed, so many lives lost. He was doing his best to tend to the situation at hand while still searching for Morgana.
He hated not knowing what had happened to her, whether she lived or had died during the attacks. He kept up the search for her as best he could, but he had to make sure that the immediate issues of the city were tended to as well, now that the dragon was gone. And Uther still questioned the great beast's fate, Arthur had told him it was dead, but there was no body, no sign of the creature anywhere. Uther trusted his son, but still, he could not push away a bit of fear.
He stood on the balcony, gazing out over the city, hoping that he would find Morgana, that he had not lost her forever. He thought about long held secrets and unsaid words, and knew that his fear and concern for Morgana went far deeper than anyone could ever realize.

William had made short work of the two guards that guarded the door that he knew the king was behind. He used magic to kill them and then hid their lifeless body's quickly. William slammed the door to the balcony open and sauntered onto the balcony where the king was standing. William's brown hair blew around in the wind as he stared at the arrogant King. Uther seemed to have been in deep in thought but William had no time to wait till Uther was done thinking. He needed to tell the king his false message quickly, just in case he got one of his uncontrollable visions, for if the king did see him in a trance he would be (correctly) accused of sorcery, and he was not ready for the king to know that he was a sorcerer. Not yet. "Sire." mumbled William with false respect as he went into a deep bow. "I am sorry to interrupt, but I have an urgent message!"

Uther jerked to attention, his anger at the man immediately rising. He did not wear the clothing of one of his guards or knights, and he had opened the door so suddenly and forcefully. Uther had ihs doubts that someone could get past so many areas of the castle with guards posted, but he still had his suspicions. He was not stupid enough to believe that magic could not do seemingly impossible things. His hand was on his sword, ready to draw it if need be.
"Who are you? How did you get into here? You are not a knight or a guard. Tell me why I should not arrest you here and now." he growled, drawing his weapon. "I will hear your message, but I still demand to know how you got past the guards, If you had spoken to them, they would be here with you."

William rose from his formal bow, and for a second he looked completely dumbfounded, but then he quickly regained himself and he put a seemingly innocent look on his face. "Your majesty, I will answer your questions of course, and you will laugh at the obvious explanation, but I must tell you my message first, since it is most important." William said in a manner that was much more regal than he usually spoke like. "I was... walking... through the Darkling Woods, and I saw the most terrible sight! The lady Sasha Tiberius, one of your new nobles, body was on the ground! She was unconcious - not dead luckily - and I would have taken her here myself, but I am poor and hungry, and just did not have the strength to lift her." William looked up at the king with pleading eyes. "Sire, you must go and get her! She is in desperate need of medical attention. And if you do not believe me, ask her maid, for she did see the lady go into the forest for a walk. I beg of you sire, please go and get her!" William hoped that the king would go get Sasha, for she was truthfuly in need of medical attention, but more importantly he needed Sasha to see Uther now because for the curse he had given her to work how he wanted it to, he needed Uther to be the first person she see's, because if so, he will be the first person she kills.

Uther listened, curious. He wondered why he was being asked to see to it directly. His instincts were telling him something wasn't quite right, but he wasn't entirely sure what it was. He had a lot of questions going through his mind at the moment. The man had answered a few things, but raised questions as well. Finally, he spoke up.
"I will certainly send my men to see to her, if what you say is indeed true. I do not see, though, why you thought for me to go myself. And you still have not told me your name. I am also still slightly suspicious, because normally, my guards would have taken the message from you and relayed it to me, rather than allowing someone near me directly. I am not convinced that this is not a trap." He had a serious look on his face as he studied the man, his hand still ready to grab his blade and defend himself if need be.

William knew he had been naive when he thought the king would go fetch her himself. He had to now come up with a whole new plan! He glanced up at the king who was looking at him seriously, his hand near his sword. William knew he had caused to much suspicon. He cursed himself for not thinking ahead. He hadn't been planning on revealing his sorcerey yet, but he knew it was the only way that he would be able to get out and come up with a new plan. "Mortesial rachagi!" cried William, his eye's flashing a wicked gold. A sharp wind blew the closed door behind him open. "Good bye, my lord." chuckled William mockingly. "I would hurry in getting Lady Sasha... Because I might get there first!" he sneered. He was lying, of course. He needed Sasha to be found and taken back to the city for his plans to work. If the king decided not to send anyone, he would probably just convince that lovely maid of Sasha's to get her. With a mocking bow William bolted out the door, rushed past the poorly hidden dead knights, and ran out into the corridors of the castle; searching for a way out.

Uther was unable to react before the sorcerer disappeared. He called for his guards, but there was no sign of the man by the time anyone could respond, given that those closest to where he was were dead. He felt angry and violated, knowing that a magic user could so easily get into his castle and past the guards. Those who came to his aid told him of the dead knights, and he was even more incensed by that. He quickly ordered a thorough search of the castle, and to seal it off so that if the man were still inside, he would be trapped here. He warned them to be cautious, since the man was a magic user.
He also ordered a detachment to look into what the man had said about the injured noble. He assumed the sorcerer was lying, but it was something that had to be seen to, in order to determine for certain. If there was even an outside chance the Lady *was* injured, Uther did not want to leave her out there unprotected.
