I stream my daily results from any device connected to the internet. Dietary information is entered into my profile in the cloud. There is a convenient and easy-to-use smartphone app I use. The data is aggregated, filtered, consolidated and easily compared to anyone in the community who shares their data. So Gamified. Where is the element? Mine will display a flower at any given time. The closer I am to my goal for the day at any point in time the higher my spending is. For example if it's the afternoon and to burn the steps but consume the calories my flower will look like a miserable little weed with only one petal.
On the other hand, if it's the morning and I've been on the elliptical for an hour and have burned my calorie target for the day, the flower will have a full petal and fill the entire screen. Now I find Costa Rica Phone Number myself checking in at different times throughout the day to see where my money is. I make a conscious effort to change my behavior whenever I feel down. For example if I am meeting a client in a cafe I will decide between yogurt or cookies based on whether I am making a coffee latte or an Americano and the food. If I were meeting a client whose office was on the first floor I would check to see if I should take the stairs. Sometimes I just take the elevator to reward myself.
Remember you need to set fitness goals. If you set them ridiculously high you probably won't reward yourself There's also a social gamification component. This is my favorite part. I can compare my data across communities and create detailed reports by age gender activity level etc. If at the end of the week I find that my sleep quality is where it is after being in my peer group I will make a conscious effort to address it. If I find myself training for a half marathon I actually plan to do in May when my daily activity level is equivalent to that of my cohort then I really need to pick up the pace. If more than my daily calories are consumed after dinner then I need to adjust my eating pattern.
