Personality: Mordred Ambrose Dante would've been a very nice boy, had it not been for the crazy laws against usage of sorcery the wicked king had put up. If anyone was to use sorcery in public, they were to be viewed as a threat and to be elimininated immediately. Thus, Mordred's always on the run. There's almost no time for him to be himself, but when he's around others he knows and trusts he's generally friendly. He would try to help them and try to make them feel better about themselves.
When he's around others that he's not sure about trusting them, or knows that he can't, he has this atmosphere of being angry around him. He tends to be defensive, but would run rather than fight if he could help it. He does try to get people helping him when he's caught in a bad situation, but sometimes it doesn't always work out superbly. It's hard for him to make friends when his life's hanging in the balance, thus he would seem cold and lonely most of the time.

Family: There is no known family for the poor child. He considers his servant as his personal guardian, though. However, he wants to consider Morgana his mother but it seems near impossible to get close to her. For the time being, he is devising a plan to try and find her, after hearing that she has disappeared with another woman who was able to use magic as well.
History: Most of the boy’s history remains a secret to many, if not all. It is only known that the child was raised by a pack of nomads who trained him as a druid upon realizing his potential in the practice of sorcery. Apparently, the boy had improved much, enough to be revered as someone special to the pack, and to also need a guardian. He did not arrive in Camelot until one unfortunate day when he had fallen ill. Morgana, the king’s ward, tended to him during this time, when the king came to find that the boy was a sorcerer. After his health improved, he was able to escape with Merlin and Morgana’s help, although Merlin was more reluctant than the woman.
He was not seen again until later, when Morgana had fled from Camelot due to her discovery of her own sorcery. It was during this time that Mordred’s love for the woman convinced him that she would be a perfect mother for him. However, because of Morgana’s importance to the king, Arthur had come along in order to rescue her, and so the child had to run. Morgana returned home with Arthur and Merlin later that evening. Mordred was thankful that Merlin had helped the gang to escape, and was starting to trust him more. Unfortunately, the next time they met did not go well. Mordred was nearly killed by a gang of the king’s knights only to end up sending them flying in various directions. The reason why his life was nearly ended, was due to a stick that had magically floated up in midair, thus tripping him. Mordred knew immediately that Merlin was the culprit responsible.
For days now, he had been running. He would like to stop running, though, and regain freedom to any and all who would practice in sorcery. Unfortunately, he couldn’t do it alone, and he definitely didn’t trust Merlin. So his last choice was Morgana. He sent out a messenger to try and fetch her, but upon his return the boy found that Morgana had been taken by a woman with blond hair, and also that she had apparently fallen ill. Mordred felt that there was more to the story, and oddly had the reason to believe that Merlin was involved in it as well. So now he seeks either one, Merlin for the truth and Morgana for that motherly affection he’s always wanted since his early childhood. However, he would not dare venture near Camelot without the help he would need.

The child sighed, leaning against an oak tree with the use of his extended arm against it. Its surface was rough to the touch, the bark slowly falling off in decay, and its leaves no longer existing or having so for years. These blue orbs scanned the horizon ahead of him, where a castle would lay at its end, studying the details as much as he could of the structure carefully laid out before him. It was a sad sight, and one that felt empty, but also one that felt of betrayal, disloyalty, and mistrust. The woman he wanted as his mother was no longer there, and he had no idea where to start looking. The young man that he thought could’ve helped him had ended up hurting him the last time they had met. How could he have trusted Merlin?
Fury built up in his chest before he abruptly spun around, figments of leaves flying around his feet. He stomped downhill, arriving moments later at a small campsite. He noticed how one was delivering firewood to the center, and watched the pile for a moment. It split in various directions, and soon enough the man charged with the task looked up at the boy bewildered. “We’re too close,” explained the youth as he continued walking onwards now, remaining quiet until he reached his tent. Holding the fine fur before him, he would turn his head back and say in a menacing voice. “Get Morgana’s maid, and bring her. Alive.” He was surprised that he had forgotten about Morgana’s maid all along. Surely she would know something! And if she didn’t… Well, that would be another story for another time.
